The federal government is open¬ing up a funding program for those who want to fight a pro¬posed quarry in Fogarty’s Cove. Opponents of the quarry, which is slated to operate for about 50 years on a waterfront site in Guys¬borough County, have the oppor¬tunity to apply for money to help them submit presentations to the Canadian Environmental Assess¬ment Agency.
